About Alumni

The primary goal of the Michigan FFA Alumni Association is to support and promote FFA and agriscience education on the local, state and national level. This includes awarding scholarships for various FFA activities, coordinating Alumni development opportunities and acting as a liaison between affiliates and the National FFA Alumni. More detail can be found in the Michigan FFA Alumni Constitution.

The Michigan FFA Alumni Council is made up of a President, Vice President and Secretary, plus six regional Vice Presidents, one at-large member and a representative from the Past State FFA Officers Alumni. The Council also includes several ex-officio members representing the Michigan FFA Association, Michigan FFA Foundation, Michigan Association of Agriscience Educators and Michigan Horticulture Teachers Association (see full Council structure here). You can find a full list of current Alumni Council members here.

In addition to standing Council members, each Alumni affiliate is encouraged to send up to two representatives to Council meetings as ex-officio members. Please email alumni@michiganffa.org if you are interested in receiving Council meeting information to send a representative(s).
