Alumni Membership
You didn't have to wear the "Blue Jacket" to join the Michigan FFA Alumni Association!Whether you were a FFA member or not you can join the Michigan FFA Alumni Association and be a part of an organization that prides itself in helping make FFA students' lives better. Your commitment helps ensure the continued success of America's premier youth leadership organization.
There are two types of membership available to FFA Alumni members -- Annual and Life.
Annual Membership
All annual members have equal class and privileges. Annual members receive the National FFA Alumni Newsletter "New Visions", a voice and a vote in alumni business, and the opportunity to subscribe to the New Horizons magizine with the "Michigan FFA Creed" insert, for $2 per year.
The annual membership period is for a twelve month period begining September 1 and ending August 31 of the following year. The annual membership dues of the National FFA Alumni Association and the Michigan FFA Alumni Association shall be recommended by the respective FFA Alumni Councils and fixed by a majority vote of the members present at their annual meeting. National dues are $10 and state dues are $10. Local affiliates establish their own membership dues for annual members in addition to the national and state dues.
Life Membership
National life membership is a one-time dues payment of $150. Life membership dues are placed in a special fund and only the interest is used to service the life member.
Life members receive a lifetime subscription to the National FFA magazine "New Horizons" with the "Michigan FFA Creed" insert, the National FFA Alumni newsletter "New Visions" and voting privileges for life.

National FFA Alumni has developed resources to assist affiliates in recruiting new members.
