Extemporaneous Public Speaking

Students who participate in the Extemporaneous Public Speaking Contest are given 30 minutes to prepare a four to five minute speech on a topic relating to agriculture or natural resources. Members research one of four broad knowledge areas and write their speech based on the knowledge retained from their studies. This contest allows members to think on their feet as their speech topic changes from contest to contest.
